Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates – The Andrews Group Expands to Mobile and Huntsville, AL

Birmingham, AL (October 26, 2017) — Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates founding franchise member Keith Andrews, CCIM, owner of Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates– The Andrews Group, located in Birmingham, AL, has announced the expansion of two new offices in Mobile and Huntsville, AL. The Andrews Group, a Founding Affiliate Member (FAM) was the first Sperry Commercial Global Affiliate to open in the Southeast and is now the first to add multiple offices.

David Monroe, CCIM, will serve as President/COO leading the Mobile office expansion. Monroe was president of Premier Apartment Services, LLC. He has been a member of Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates since July 2017. An industry leader, Monroe recently received the prestigious international Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation at the Global CCIM Governance Meetings and Conference in Toronto in October 2017. The CCIM lapel pin denotes that the wearer has completed advanced coursework in financial and market analysis, and demonstrated extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. Only six percent of all commercial real estate professionals hold this designation.

Further underscoring Andrews’ industry connections, he was recently named to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) 2018 Global Business and Alliances Committee. NAR maintains formal relationships with 89 organized real estate associations around the world. Andrews also recently graduated from the very prestigious Jay W Levine (JWL) Leadership Development Academy which is a nine-month Academy program designed to build the skills and self-knowledge participants need to fulfill leadership roles with the Institute, as well as in their communities.

“After I became a franchisee with Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates, Keith said we should join forces and grow to multiple offices which made perfect sense,” said Monroe. “I had planned an expansion to most of the southeastern states so Keith’s plan was in line with mine.”

Marsha Whisenhunt, an Associate Broker with The Andrews Group, will lead the Huntsville office. She joined Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates – The Andrews Group in January 2017. She brings more than 19 years of commercial brokerage experience to her new role as senior vice president.
