Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates Expands in Ohio with The Masica Company
Irvine, Calif. (January 13, 2020) — Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates today announced that The Masica Company, a diversified commercial real estate brokerage firm, is helping with the company’s expansion in the greater Cleveland, Ohio, area. Directed by principal brokers Michelle Masica, Steve Masica (CCIM), and Sarah Combs, The Masica Company specializes in a broad spectrum of commercial real estate categories, including sales, leasing, land, industrial, and retail properties. As the first Sperry affiliate in the northeast region, The Masica Company plans to continue expanding throughout area.

Michelle Masica attended Miami University and pursued a career in sales and communication following school. She managed Masica Builders and obtained her real estate license in order to sell residential properties for their real estate company, MSL Realty, which sold in 2008. In 2011, Michelle joined the Gerspacher Real Estate Group, where she spent 8 years. In 2019, she received her managing broker’s license and is excited to lead the team at The Masica Company with her years of experience, client accolades, and passion for the business. Michelle remains involved in the community, serving as the 2019 President of the Great Medina Chamber of Commerce.
Steve Masica comes to Sperry Commercial with experience in building, construction management, real estate development, and real estate sales. His career began as the owner of Masica Builders, a custom home building company where he spent 27 years. He obtained his real estate license in 2006 when he founded MSL Realty. Steve has been the owner/partner in JC Holdings, SLM Development Co., the Strand Company, and Sharon Circle, LLC—all involved in real estate development, historic restoration, and construction projects. In 2013, Steve joined Gerspacher Real Estate Group and spent six years as an agent involved in leasing, sales, and advising. Steve is heavily involved in the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Organization and has served as the 2019 Secretary, 2020 President-Elect, and will be the 2021 President of the Ohio Chapter of CCIM.
Sarah (Masica) Combs obtained a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the Boler School of Business at John Carroll University. She pursued her real estate license after spending time in a management trainee position and sales role. In 2017, she joined the team as a licensed agent to better serve a new market of commercial real estate clients. Sarah is passionate about client relations and her ability to support the experienced team with new ideas and exceptional customer service.
