Capstone Commercial Real Estate Joins Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates;
Irvine, Calif. (July 25, 2022) — Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates announced today that Capstone Commercial Real Estate is joining as an affiliate serving the greater Seattle area. Led by Principal and Designated Broker John Downing and Principal and Broker Ryan Downing, Capstone specializes in multi-family sales and property management as well as office and retail sales.
Since 1976, Capstone has managed, improved and sustained the financial return to owners, and created a stable network of insurance, maintenance and management providers. Currently, Capstone manages 65 investment properties valued at over $235 million.

John Downing has more than 50 years of experience in commercial sales and property management and has over $650 million in completed transactions. He is a graduate of the University of Washington’s Commercial Real Estate Certificate Program and has been awarded the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). John is a past board member of the Rental Housing Association and is a guest professional lecturer on commercial real estate at the University of Washington.
Ryan Downing is a lifelong commercial real estate management and sales professional. Since he started in commercial real estate in 2001, Ryan has been involved in more than 100 real estate transactions totaling almost $225 million. He holds the Certified Professional Salesperson (CPSP) designation from the National Association of Sales Professionals (NASP) and the Certified Commercial Advisor (CCA) designation from the National Association of Real Estate Advisors (NAREA).
